Ribbon Cutting of the Bartram's Mile Trail

Join us on April 22 to cut the ribbon on the latest extension of the Schuylkill River Trail: the Bartram's Mile Trail!

The time of this event has been changed from 11:30 am to 11:00am.
Local representatives will gather with members of the Southwest Philadelphia community to cut the ribbon on and open the Bartram’s Mile Trail. The 1.1 mile trail runs from Grays Ferry Avenue to 56th Street and unlocks an important connection point in the Circuit Trails and opens Southwest Philadelphia to the City’s park system.
This project was made possible through support from the William Penn Foundation, Knight Foundation, Pew Charitable Trusts, Lenfest Foundation, PennDOT, the City of Philadelphia Parks & Recreation, Philadelphia Commerce Department, Philadelphia Water Department and Councilwoman Jannie Blackwell.
