This workshop is designed to help beginner to intermediate gardeners understand the basics of raised bed agriculture. You will learn about the history, benefits, and challenges of gardening with a raised bed. Finally, you will be guided through the process of planning, building, and sustaining a raised bed.

Participants will form a better understanding of the history of the raised garden bed and its benefits. They will define and re-define food sovereignty, sovereign people, and food access. Participants will leave the workshop with the knowledge of tool safety and the skills to build raised garden beds. Also, participants will form connections with each other to build a stronger network.
